Elliott Rogers (d. 1996) of New Haven, Connecticut, and later Hilton Head, South Carolina, became an associate member of the American Numismatic Society in 1935, a fellow in 1967, and a life fellow in 1992. In 1990 he donated his collection of 265 world coins to the Society, which included some Spanish cobs and a crown dating from the period of Crete independence (1898-1912). ...
